In spite of the high winds and thunderstorm in the forecast, we had a perfect day for our kayak clinic. The sailing club bay provided enough protection for the 10 beginners ranging in age from 11 – adult. Those in Level 2 were challenged to try out advanced paddle strokes and rescues in the wind and waves. Everyone left with more confidence and new skills. And, luckily the thunderstorm held off till we were all packed up and on
our way.
