If you are planning to book a campsite at Kinbrook Park, note that the site closest to the clubhouse is now called J-loop.
Meal Plans
We offer a meal plan so you can just focus on your racing, three meals (dinner on Saturday & Sunday, lunch on Monday) for $60. You can let us know how many meals you’d like, on the registration form below.
Watercraft Inspections are Mandatory
Watercraft inspections help protect Alberta’s waters from harmful aquatic invasive species that present great threats to native fisheries, water quality, local economies and industry.
If you want to use a watercraft on Newell Lake, you will have to get it checked by the EID inspectors, even if you already had it checked during the Prairie Wind Regatta.
If you come from outside Alberta, you also need an inspection done at the border. EID will be asking for this rapport and if you don’t have it, you will be sent to Dunmore (closest inspection post to Lake Newell) to get it. So it’s just easier if you do it when crossing the border. The Dunmore office will be open on Friday between 10.30am and 7.30pm.
