We had about 12 people register for the catamaran clinic, and even though there were a number of no-shows, there were also a few people that showed up who hadn’t registered. The weekend was excellent for wind and we had some exhilarating wind on Saturday and Sunday, which a lot of our local sailor members enjoyed.

We had a number of guests come for some windsurfing and/or catamaran sailing along with Pierre and Charles; mostly on their larger boats but a couple of us were able to take out some people on our SeaSprays.

George Kovalev from Medicine Hat also took part and used his drone to get some drone footage of the sailing. There is some excellent video of that and we hope to show you more of that later after he has had the chance to edit some of it. 

We hope to encourage other people to take photographs of our local sailing activities because some of the sailing on the weekend was very photogenic.

I want to thank Roger for his help during windsurfing week and also Charles for his help during the catamaran clinic and actually all the Club members were very good about making guests feel welcome.

The potluck was well attended by our members and our guests and was excellent meal and was enjoyed by all. We hope that we will see a few more of these Club functions through the season.
