Regatta July 7,8 and 9:

As for the Regatta which is coming up quickly, we have compiled a list of chores that need people to take on.
Volunteers to be the Opti Race officer(s).

Volunteers to run the races; marksboats, score keepers, shore crew.

The beef has been ordered.

Kitchen volunteers please check with Sharon Snell for Friday and/or Janet Cormack for Saturday and Sunday. Muffin bakers also needed.

Plate and cutlery count. Bette will do this job.

Checking for supper tickets or wrist bands. Bette again.

Order from Water Pure and Simple, ask for delivery. Larry will do this job.

Sort out the Race Flags.

Check to see if we have enough/any race registration sheets and score sheets.

Trimming and mowing as needed.

Check our power boats for oil/fuel/battery levels and general seaworthiness.

There is possibly a leak in the transom of the "Tinny", find and repair.

If someone has the time look at the floor in the Ladies washroom. I believe there is flooring available in the lawnmower shed.

Pickup the BBQ from Harvey's Plumbing in time for the Saturday supper.

And last but not least, Amy Mills is still looking for donations for the "Silent Auction". Proceeds are for the Junior Sailing Program/equipment.

If you would take on any of these jobs please reply to this e-mail (NSC Newsletter)
Thank you
